Stuart Attwell will referee the Brighton and Whites match on Saturday

Stuart Attwell has been appointed to officiate Saturday's Premier League fixture between Brighton and the Whites at the Amex. The 43-year-old official previously handled a UEFA Conference League qualifying match earlier this campaign and oversaw the draw between Newcastle United and Liverpool. Attwell has refereed 244 Premier League matches throughout his career and took charge of the 2025 FA Cup Final. The Whites have recorded 12 wins in 25 matches officiated by Attwell, while Brighton holds 13 wins across 31 appearances under his supervision. Constantine Hatzidakis and Nick Hopton will serve as assistant referees, with John Busby acting as the fourth official. James Bell is the designated video assistant referee for the match, supported by Edward Smart.
