Stuttgart's Angelo Stiller turns down summer transfer to Leverkusen

Angelo Stiller of VfB Stuttgart declined a transfer to Bayer Leverkusen during the summer transfer window. The decision came after Leverkusen reached out to Stiller’s representatives, with the player ultimately opting to stay at Stuttgart, where he will participate in the Champions League. Stiller, who has a strong rapport with coach Sebastian Hoeneß, signed a contract with Stuttgart running until 2028. His current release clause, valued at approximately €37 million, does not take effect until next summer, following the winter transfer window.
