Sugar Land Space Cowboys lose to Isotopes; Corpus Christi Hooks win

On August 8, the Sugar Land Space Cowboys fell 10-1 to the Albuquerque Isotopes in a Triple-A game. Sugar Land struggled, with Bryce Mayer allowing six runs in three innings during his debut. In contrast, the Corpus Christi Hooks secured a 3-1 victory over the Frisco RoughRiders. Andrew Taylor impressed in his Double-A debut, giving up one run in four innings while striking out five. The Hooks had key contributions from Max Holy, who homered, and the bullpen, which held the opposition scoreless.
