Sulligent football player BT Bennett recovers from head injury, community supports

Brady Ty "BT" Bennett, a senior at Sulligent High School, suffered a brain injury during a football game against South Lamar on September 4. Initially noticed cramping, Bennett collapsed on the sideline and experienced a seizure, prompting immediate medical attention. He was diagnosed with a brain bleed, underwent emergency surgery, and currently remains on a ventilator. While his condition is serious, Bennett has shown some responsiveness. His teammates and community have rallied around him, providing support and hope during this difficult time.
