Sunderland pursues Sevilla winger Chidera Ejuke amid competition

Summary

Sunderland is actively pursuing Sevilla winger Chidera Ejuke this summer, facing competition from Bayer Leverkusen, Fulham, and Leeds United. The 28-year-old has struggled with consistency at Sevilla, posting one goal and one assist in 29 matches last season. Ejuke could provide valuable depth off the bench, and his contract expires at the end of next season, potentially allowing Sunderland to secure him for a lower fee. The club's head coach, Regis Le Bris, sees Ejuke as a fit for their attack.
