Sutter Muzzatti signs entry-level contract with Red Wings

Sutter Muzzatti has signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Detroit Red Wings, announced on August 21. Muzzatti was acquired from the Nashville Predators for future considerations. During the 2025-26 season at the University of Notre Dame, he recorded 32 points in 37 games, ranking second on the team. The 23-year-old forward previously played three seasons at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he tallied 50 points over 78 games. He was originally selected by Nashville in the fifth round of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
