Swansea City great Herbie Williams dies at 85

Herbie Williams, the former Swansea City player and Wales international, has died at the age of 85. Williams joined Swansea as a teenager in 1955 and played for the club from 1958 to 1975, amassing 513 league appearances, the third most in the club's history. He scored a total of 129 goals during his time with Swansea. The club expressed deep sadness over his passing, calling him one of their most loyal servants. Williams was part of the 1963-64 Swansea squad that reached the FA Cup semi-finals and earned three caps for the Wales national team during his playing career.
