Swerve Strickland returns to AEW, confronts Hangman Page on Dynamite

Swerve Strickland has been missing from AEW since he failed to beat Will Ospreay in the main event of Forbidden Door at the end of June. But he made his unannounced return on tonight’s (Aug. 12) Dynamite to confront AEW World Trios Champions Hangman Page, Bandido, and Brody King. Hangman Adam Page was full of confidence and ready to speak, but the returning @swerveconfident had other plans! He especially went in on Hangman over the fact that he can never challenge for the AEW world championship again. Page returned fire with fire, pointing out that Swerve has nothing to show for all the terrible shit he’s done this year in AEW. The tension speaks for itself! Ricochet trash talked everyone in the ring while asserting that this is trios business, which means Swerve has to get the hell out of his ring. Strickland did take his leave, but not before calling Ricochet a bitch. “We’re gonna do it on our time!” The Demand are not done chasing gold, and they want the #AEW World Trios Titles back!
