SWOCC swim teams place second at NJCAA championships

SwimmingThe men's and women's swimming teams from Southwestern Oregon Community College (SWOCC) each secured second place at the NJCAA championships held earlier this year. Indian River State College dominated the meet, finishing with 1,255 points in the men’s category, while SWOCC scored 802 points. In the women's competition, Indian River State tallied 1,291 points, with SWOCC achieving 675 points. SWOCC had one national champion, Yuta Kosaka, who won the 400-yard individual medley and also earned second place in two other events. SWOCC swimmers who placed include Bradley McKenzie and Victor Dryhauge, while the women featured standout performances from Andy Garca Jimenez and Cami Tovar, among others.
