Sydney Fowler turns to adaptive sports after paralysis at age 13

Sydney Fowler, paralyzed at 13 due to a spinal cord injury, discovered adaptive sports and has since embraced various activities, including wheelchair tennis, CrossFit, and water skiing. After attending a camp for adaptive sports, she realized her athletic aspirations were not over. Fowler now aims to inspire others with disabilities and is positioning herself for potential competition in tennis at the Paralympics while also studying at Clemson University, where she is exploring involvement in their adaptive recreation program.
