Syracuse adds offensive lineman Javeion Cooper for 2026 season

Syracuse University has announced the addition of offensive lineman Javeion Cooper for the 2026 football season. Cooper, a 6'5”, 275-pound freshman from Melbourne, Florida, played for Melbourne Central Catholic, where he excelled on both lines. He was ranked four stars by ESPN and competed against several major programs, including Florida and Penn State, for his commitment. While he wasn't on campus for spring practice, Cooper could have a role if the offensive line struggles during the season. Syracuse enters the 2026 season with high expectations under head coach Fran Brown.
