Syracuse CBA rallies late to edge Elmira in regional semifinal

Syracuse Christian Brothers Academy rallied for a 9-7 victory over Elmira in a New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class AAA baseball subregional on June 2 at Horseheads High School. CBA scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning, taking advantage of a throwing error to secure the win. Elmira, despite a strong start and a 13-game winning streak, ends its season with a 15-6 record. CBA will advance to face Niagara Falls in the regional final on June 6.
