Syracuse defeats University of New Hampshire 66-3 at JMA Wireless Dome

The University of New Hampshire dropped to 0-2 on the season following a 66-3 loss to Syracuse on Saturday at the JMA Wireless Dome. Syracuse quarterback Steve Angeli threw for 263 yards and three touchdowns, while Shavane Anderson Jr. added 102 rushing yards and three scores. University of New Hampshire's only points came from a 46-yard field goal by Lucas Glassburn in the first half. Wildcats quarterback Brooks Bentley completed 11 of 18 passes for 75 yards, and teammate Myles Thomason led the team with 76 all-purpose yards. Trevor Barry recorded a game-high 11 tackles in the loss. The University of New Hampshire program now prepares for its home opener against Stonehill on September 12.
