Syracuse football adds two more commitments for 2027 class

Syracuse football expanded its 2027 recruiting class by securing two commitments over the weekend. Chima Okechukwu, a defensive lineman from Mt. Zion Prep in Maryland, announced his commitment on August 8, with a notable size of 6’8” and 315 pounds. Amari Eliano, an athlete and son of Syracuse assistant coach Perry Eliano, committed on August 9, bringing a three-star rating and versatility as both a wide receiver and defensive back. With these additions, Syracuse now boasts 26 recruits for the 2027 class, ranked 39th by 247 Sports and 43rd by Rivals.
