Syracuse linebacker Maurice Medley joins Orange for 2026 season

Maurice Medley, a 6'3" linebacker from Severn, MD, has officially joined the Syracuse Orange football team for the upcoming 2026 season. Medley, who previously played at St. Frances Academy, committed to Syracuse in December 2024 over offers from several prominent programs including Michigan and USC. He is considered a promising player with significant potential, particularly noted for his speed and versatility on defense. Although he did not record any stats in 2025, he brings a strong skill set to the roster as the team prepares for Year 3 under head coach Fran Brown.
