Syracuse Orange defensive back Davien Kerr prepares for 2026 season

Davien Kerr, a junior defensive back for the Syracuse Orange, is gearing up for the 2026 football season. Having played in all 12 games last year, he made three starts and recorded 16 tackles, three interceptions, and four pass defenses. Kerr is transitioning to safety this season, which may enhance his contributions on the field. His journey began with a lone FBS offer from Syracuse, despite interest from several lower-division programs. He is noted for his ball-hawking skills.
