Syracuse wide receiver Umari Hatcher prepares for season return

Umari Hatcher, a redshirt senior wide receiver for the Syracuse Orange, returns to the team after a short stint in the transfer portal. He missed most of the 2025 season due to injury but has been named Offensive MVP during spring practices. Hatcher ended the previous season with 52 catches for 797 yards and 7 touchdowns. He is expected to take on a significant role in the offense, especially after the departures of teammates Johntay Cook and Darrell Gill. Training camp is set to begin soon.
