Tae Davis plans to enter transfer portal after fifth year granted

Oklahoma forward Tae Davis intends to enter the transfer portal following a recent court ruling that granted him a fifth year of eligibility. The NCAA's change allows 2022 recruits like Davis another season, although he faces constraints since he did not enter the portal during the initial window and could not transfer until the appeal is resolved. Last season, Davis was a prominent player for the Sooners, averaging 13.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game, scoring in double figures in 28 games. Prior to his time at Oklahoma, he played at Seton Hall and Notre Dame, accumulating a total of 134 games in his college career.
