Ta'ita'i Uiagalelei returns to Washington Huskies for fifth year

Ta'ita'i Uiagalelei rejoined the Washington Huskies for practice on August 9, 2026, after receiving a fifth year of NCAA eligibility. The defensive lineman last played for the Huskies in the 2025 season, where he participated in all 13 games. His return follows a court’s decision that allows players from the 2022-23 academic year to have an additional year of eligibility. Uiagalelei, now wearing No. 46, practiced with the starters, contributing significant experience to the defensive line.
