The Tampa Bay Buccaneers added veteran quarterback Easton Stick to their practice squad on September 2. The move provides the organization with depth at the position following the release of Jake Browning and the decision to name rookie Jalon Daniels as the primary backup to starter Baker Mayfield. Stick, a 2019 fifth-round pick, brings experience from his tenure with the Los Angeles Chargers and his 2025 season with the Atlanta Falcons. During his time in Atlanta, Stick worked under current Buccaneers offensive coordinator Zac Robinson and quarterbacks coach T.J. Yates. The addition offers Tampa Bay an experienced option to elevate if necessary while allowing Daniels to continue his development on the active roster.
