Tampa Bay Buccaneers sign rookie linebacker Caden Fordham to practice squad

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed undrafted rookie linebacker Caden Fordham to the team practice squad on Monday. Fordham had originally earned a spot on the 53-man roster following a productive preseason but was waived after the organization claimed cornerback Kevin Knowles from the Kansas City Chiefs. During his initial stint with the team, Fordham recorded 10 tackles and two tackles for loss across three preseason games, while also leading all NFL players with four solo tackles in kick coverage. The decision to retain him on the practice squad provides depth for a linebacker room currently managing injuries for Christian Rozeboom and the recent return of SirVocea Dennis. Fordham, who previously played at N.C. State, remains available for elevation to the active roster should the team require additional help at linebacker or on special teams throughout the season.
