Tampa couple set to run seven marathons in seven days

Jill and Dougin Walker from Tampa will compete in the 2027 World Marathon Challenge starting January 30. They will run seven marathons across seven continents in consecutive days, beginning in Antarctica and concluding in Miami on February 5. The couple, both seasoned endurance athletes, has completed over 100 Ironman races combined. This venture follows their achievement of six Ironman races on six continents within six weeks in 2023. Post-Challenge, the Walkers plan to participate in the 100th Comrades Marathon in June 2027.
