Tanner Charron and Maddyx Ingalls earn Argus Leader athlete of the week honors

O'Gorman junior Tanner Charron and West Central senior Maddyx Ingalls were selected by readers as the Argus Leader Athletes of the Week for the period of August 24 to 29. Charron secured 60.3% of the boys' vote following a performance in the O'Gorman football team's win over Sioux Falls Lincoln. During that game, the junior recorded six receptions for 129 yards, two touchdowns, and a pick-six that changed the game's momentum. Ingalls received 62.1% of the girls' vote after an effort in West Central's 3-1 loss to Vermillion. The senior outside hitter contributed 15 kills and nine digs in that match.
