Tarik Skubal dominates in rehab start for West Michigan Whitecaps

Tarik Skubal had a successful rehab start for the West Michigan Whitecaps on Sunday, going five innings without allowing a run. He limited the opposing hitters to two hits, struck out six, and maintained control by throwing 44 of his 54 pitches for strikes. Following his stint on the mound, Skubal returned to the bullpen to throw additional pitches due to his dominant performance. The Detroit Tigers are considering his return to the major league roster; however, they are likely to schedule another rehab start at Triple-A Toledo before making a decision.
