Tarik Skubal joins Dodgers' strong pitching rotation

Tarik Skubal, previously with the Detroit Tigers, has joined the Los Angeles Dodgers as of August 2, 2026. Known for his unique pitching style, Skubal will contribute to a formidable Dodgers rotation that includes standout pitchers like Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Blake Snell. Over the past four seasons, Skubal has consistently excelled but faced health challenges that have prevented him from winning the Cy Young award. His distinct approach involves a dominant sinker and changeup combination, making him an attractive addition to an already star-studded lineup, particularly in a season where the Dodgers seek to enhance their chances for success.
