With a few departures in the rearview mirror, TNA is opening the check book to re-sign a former Knockouts champion. Tasha Steelz inked a new deal. The Boricua Badass carried the title for 106 days. Steelz’s accolades from her seven years in TNA also include two-time Knockouts tag team champion with Kiera Hogan and winning the first-ever Knockouts Ultimate X match. Steelz spoke to Denise Salcedo to break the news. She took about 48 hours to mull over the decision to re-sign versus free agency. Steelz was loyal in the end. Her future goals include wrestling in another Knockouts Ultimate X, a Knockouts Lockdown match, and winning the Knockouts Championship for the second time.
