Ta'Shawn Poole named No. 6 safety in 2027 recruiting class

Florida State commit Ta'Shawn Poole has been recognized as the No. 6 safety in Rivals' 2027 recruiting rankings. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect from Howard High School in Georgia is coming off a strong junior season and has started the current year with impressive stats, including two interceptions and seven tackles. Poole has also contributed offensively with seven receptions for 118 yards and two touchdowns, along with rushing for 59 yards and a touchdown. Poole, ranked as the No. 72 overall player nationally, has already visited Florida State and is expected to attend more games as he continues to weigh his college options.
