Three-star linebacker Tasheem Butler has reaffirmed his commitment to North Carolina despite recently visiting Maryland. Butler, who is a member of the 2027 recruiting class and hails from Glassboro, New Jersey, indicated he plans to ‘shut things down’ in favor of UNC. He previously committed to the Tar Heels and will have an official visit scheduled on June 5. Butler is currently ranked the No. 54 linebacker nationally.
