Taylor Moton and Jaycee Horn placed on NFI list for Panthers

Carolina Panthers offensive tackle Taylor Moton has been diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs and will miss time as he is placed on the reserve/NFI list. Moton is expected to miss the early part of the season. Cornerback Jaycee Horn joins him on the NFI list due to a foot injury that required stitches, although he is anticipated to return for the start of the season. The Panthers are already facing challenges on the offensive line, including the absence of Ikem Ekwonu for likely the first half of the season. Rasheed Walker and first-round pick Monroe Freeling are set to fill in the tackle spots as the team adjusts its lineup in response to these injuries.
