Taylor Stanley of Kansas named AVCA Player of the Week

Taylor Stanley, a freshman pin hitter for the University of Kansas, has been named the American Volleyball Coaches Association Player of the Week. This recognition follows a strong performance where she contributed 48 kills at an impressive.456 attack percentage, leading the Jayhawks to a perfect 3-0 week. Stanley also received the Big 12 Rookie and Offensive Player of the Week honors, becoming the first Jayhawk since Kelsie Payne in 2016 to earn the AVCA accolade. She leads the Big 12 in points per set and will compete again on September 25 against Houston in the Big 12 opener.
