Taylor Tatum leaves Michigan football team after transfer from Oklahoma

Former Oklahoma Sooners running back Taylor Tatum has departed from the Michigan football program, where he had recently transitioned to defensive back. Tatum spent two seasons with Oklahoma before joining Michigan this offseason, but saw limited action due to injuries and ball security issues at OU. A U-M spokesman confirmed his exit, which is reportedly without a clear explanation. Tatum had been competing for a position in the safety unit but now leaves Michigan without having played a game for the team.
