TCU football previews defensive line ahead of 2026 season

The TCU Horned Frogs are set to rely on key returning players on their defensive line for the upcoming 2026 football season. Markis Deal, a redshirt junior, is a standout nose tackle with a career-high 26 total tackles last season. Ansel Din-Mbuh, a senior transfer from Washington State, contributed 24 tackles and 6.5 tackles for loss last year. Alongside them, redshirt junior Paul Oyewale is expected to play an important role after posting 31 total tackles. Depth on the defensive line includes Perry Cole Jr., Floyd Guidry, and several newcomers, such as Zach Chapman and Koron Hayward, who bring additional experience to the unit. TCU’s preparation continues as they look to finalize their lineup ahead of the first game.
