TCU's Lance Davis announces return for 2027 baseball season

Lance Davis, a TCU redshirt freshman, will not enter the 2026 MLB Draft and will return for the 2027 season. In his first year with the Horned Frogs, Davis recorded a 5-3 record and a 3.71 ERA over 14 starts. He struck out 51 batters in 80 innings pitched. Davis was TCU's only pitcher to start all 14 weeks during the season and earned All-Big 12 Second Team honors. His return adds stability to the Horned Frogs' rotation, which will also see the return of injured pitchers Louis Rodriguez and Kade Eudy next year.
