Teagan Kavan of Texas softball has been named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2026 Women's College World Series. Kavan, who previously helped Texas secure its first WCWS title last year, contributed significantly in the finals against Texas Tech, striking out five of the final six batters. During the tournament, she recorded 30 strikeouts over 33 1/3 innings and allowed only one run in 19 innings dating back to February. With this victory, Texas claims its second consecutive WCWS title, becoming the fifth Division I program to win back-to-back championships and the first since Oklahoma's run from 2021 to 2024.
