Team Indiana departs for 2026 Special Olympics USA Games

OlympicsTeam Indiana, consisting of over 100 athletes, Unified partners, coaches, and support staff, will fly from Indianapolis International Airport on Friday to the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minneapolis. They will participate in the Opening Ceremony on Saturday, June 22, at the University of Minnesota, which will be broadcast at 8:30 p.m. ET. Team Indiana is competing in ten sports including basketball, bocce, and soccer. They will also participate in Youth and Adult Leadership Experiences during the event.
