Team NI announces cycling team for Commonwealth Games in Glasgow

Team NI has named a five-member cycling team to compete in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, beginning on July 30. The team includes Erin Creighton, Emma Jeffers, Esther Wong, Matthew Dobbins, and Chris Burns, all of whom bring a mix of experience and achievements. Creighton, a reserve at the 2024 Olympics, has notable junior championships under her belt. Jeffers transitioned from BMX to road racing, and Wong has competed across multiple cycling disciplines. Dobbins has international experience, while Burns has recently succeeded in paracycling events. The games' opening ceremony is on July 23.
