Team USA's junior gymnasts win 13 medals at Pan American Championships

Team USA's junior gymnasts claimed a total of 13 medals, including seven golds, at the 2026 Pan American Gymnastics Championships held in Rio de Janeiro from June 18. The junior women's team dominated the competition, scoring 153.264 to secure the team title and outpacing Canada and Brazil. On the men's side, the team achieved a gold medal with a score of 224.394, exceeding the totals from Canada and Brazil. Individual performances highlighted by 14-year-old Amia Pugh-Banks, who won three gold medals, marked a successful event for the U.S. squad. The senior gymnastics events will begin later today at 8:35 a.m. ET.
