Teams prepare for the 2026 Solheim Cup at Bernardus Golf

The 2026 Solheim Cup begins in the Netherlands with the opening ceremony scheduled for Thursday. Twelve-member teams representing the U.S. and Europe are currently in the Netherlands to prepare for the biennial match play event held at Bernardus Golf. This marks the first time the competition has been hosted in the country. Competition rounds are set to commence on Friday, featuring a series of foursomes, four-balls, and Sunday singles matches. Captain Angela Stanford leads the U.S. side, while Anna Nordqvist serves as captain for the European team. The U.S. enters the event as the defending champion after a 15½ - 12½ victory in 2024.
