Tennessee baseball adds Travis Sanders, former Baylor infielder

Travis Sanders has committed to the University of Tennessee baseball program, as announced on Instagram on June 26. The 6-foot-2, 193-pound junior previously played for Baylor after starting his career at Texas Tech. In 2026, he earned All-Big 12 second-team honors with a batting average of.369, accumulating 82 hits and nine home runs. Tennessee continues to bolster its roster amid significant departures, including Jay Abernathy transferring to Oklahoma. The Volunteers also welcome several other new players.
