Tennessee debuts First Horizon jersey patch in win over Furman

Tennessee football introduced a First Horizon jersey patch during its season-opening game against Furman on Saturday at Neyland Stadium. The 18th-ranked Volunteers defeated Furman 56-9 while returning to Adidas uniforms for the 2026 season. Athletic director Danny White stated the partnership serves to provide resources for program competitiveness while maintaining the brand identity of the university uniforms. The agreement between Tennessee Athletics and First Horizon spans 10 years and is valued at more than $120 million. The team recorded 638 yards of total offense during the contest to open its schedule with a 1-0 record. Furman moves to a 1-1 record following the loss in Knoxville.
