Tennessee football maintains number 18 ranking in latest Coaches Poll

Tennessee remains ranked No. 18 in the Week 2 US LBM Coaches Poll following a season-opening victory. The Volunteers defeated Furman 56-9 at Neyland Stadium on Sept. 5 to move to 1-0 on the year. While other programs saw movement in the national rankings, Tennessee's position remained unchanged from its preseason standing. The team now turns its attention to an upcoming SEC-ACC matchup against Georgia Tech. This game is scheduled for Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. EDT at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta. ESPN will broadcast the contest with Bob Wischusen, Louis Riddick, and Stormy Buonantony providing the coverage.
