Tennessee football schedules five nonconference games through 2031

Tennessee football has added five nonconference games to its future schedules, spanning 2028 to 2031. The Vols will host Chattanooga, Bowling Green, UT Martin, and Austin Peay at Neyland Stadium, ensuring seven home games each season as the SEC moves to a nine-game conference schedule. Tennessee has a strong historical record against these opponents, including a 39-2-2 mark against Chattanooga. The addition of these games also fills most of Tennessee's future scheduling needs, leaving only one nonconference opponent needed for 2030 and two for 2031.
