Tennessee golfers Lance Simpson and Jackson Herrington named All-America Scholars

Lance Simpson and Jackson Herrington of the Tennessee men's golf team were honored as 2026 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a minimum GPA, compete in a majority of team rounds, and achieve certain stroke averages. Simpson, a redshirt senior, finished his season with a scoring average of 70.11, ranking among the top in program history. Herrington, a sophomore, had significant performances, including competing in the Masters and U.S. Open, and achieving a scoring average of 71.35.
