Tennessee Lady Vols defeat South Alabama as two players score first goals

The No. 24 Tennessee Lady Vols improved to 2-0 in the 2026 soccer season with a 2-0 win over South Alabama at Regal Soccer Stadium on Sunday. Freshman forward Ayva Jordan opened the scoring with her first career goal at 26 minutes, assisted by Kylee Simmons and Bella Smith. Junior defender Devin Davis also netted her first career goal, with Smith providing another assist in the 79th minute. Junior goalkeeper Cayden Norris recorded her first shutout of the season, making one save during the match. Tennessee outshot South Alabama 12-4, including five shots on target compared to the Jaguars' one.
