Tennessee linebacker Edwin Spillman named to Wuerffel Trophy watch list

Tennessee junior linebacker Edwin Spillman has been named to the 2026 Allstate Wuerffel Trophy preseason watch list. The award recognizes college football players for their community service, academic excellence, and athletic success. Spillman, a member of the Vols' leadership council, has committed over 120 hours to community service and has supported initiatives in Sierra Leone. He earned Freshman All-America honors in 2025 after leading all freshmen with 81 tackles. The Allstate Good Works Team will be finalized in September, with the award recipient announced on December 11.
