Tennessee freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon has been awarded SEC Freshman of the Week for the second consecutive week following his performance in a 45-24 victory over Georgia Tech on September 12. In that game, he completed 10 of 21 passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns, along with 22 rushing yards. After making his college debut on September 5, where he also achieved three passing touchdowns, Brandon has quickly established himself as a key player for the Volunteers. Tennessee, currently ranked 14th and with a record of 2-0, will next face Kennesaw State on Saturday at Neyland Stadium.
