Tennessee recruit Asa Barnes scores five touchdowns on five carries

Tennessee commit Asa Barnes recorded five touchdowns on five carries for Westview High School during a 69-7 victory against Obion County on Friday. Barnes totaled 165 rushing yards before exiting the game in the second quarter. The performance arrives as Westview remains undefeated with a 4-0 record this season, maintaining an average margin of victory of 42.3 points. Barnes is one of two running back commits in the Tennessee 2027 recruiting class, alongside David Gabriel Georges. Gabriel Georges also scored five times Friday during a separate game for Baylor against Trinity in Louisville. Together, the two high school prospects combined for 481 yards and 10 total touchdowns during their respective Friday night contests.
