Tennessee football will not send a quarterback to the 2026 SEC Media Days in Tampa, Florida, scheduled for July 20-23. Instead, linebackers Arion Carter and Jeremiah Telander, along with running back DeSean Bishop, will represent the team along with head coach Josh Heupel. The decision comes amid an ongoing competition for the starting quarterback position, with redshirt freshman George MacIntyre and true freshman Faizon Bradley as the top contenders. This follows a similar situation from the previous year when Joey Aguilar was not yet named as the starter after his transfer. The Vols' first game of the season is September 5 against Furman.
