Tennessee soccer shuts out Western Carolina 4-0 at home

No. 16 Tennessee soccer recorded a 4-0 victory against Western Carolina at Regal Soccer Stadium on August 23. The Lady Vols took an early lead with a penalty kick conversion by Kylee Simmons and extended it with a goal from Shae O' Rourke in the 11th minute. Jayla Blue and Olivia Feagin added goals in the second half, with the latter being set up by Kai Tsakiris. Tennessee achieved its third shutout in four games this season, dominating with 33 shots, including 16 on target. The Lady Vols will next compete on September 3 against Virginia in Charlottesville.
