Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi manages roster and practice squad adjustments

Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi reduced the team roster from 90 to 53 players by the required Sunday deadline. Following the initial cuts, Borgonzi added three players through waiver claims and signed two free agents. These roster additions forced the subsequent release or waiver of five other players. While fans expressed disappointment regarding the release of wide receiver Xavier Restrepo, the organization successfully retained most of its depth. Restrepo, Erick Hallett II, Mo Diabate, and Jerrick Reed II all cleared waivers and subsequently signed with the team's practice squad. Only veteran Austin Deculus departed the organization entirely after being released. Malik Herring was the only other player cut by the Titans who joined a rival team's 53-man roster.
